It all started over a cup of coffee. Now, business partners Naimah and Rashad, are set up in Vincent, Alabama with their very first storefront for “Alicia’s Coffee!” Naimah is a #BEBHM alum from Cohort 5, and Rashad is learning more about business operations in #BEBHM Cohort 7 right now.

Alicia’s Coffee started during the pandemic and has thrived by serving up their delicious coffee but what makes them even more special is the connection of community that comes with the delicious cup of coffee. Naimah brought a live bright energy when speaking of Alicia’s coffee and you can feel that energy in every encounter you have with them. Their slogan is, “Coffee is Connection” and this holds true to what they have been able to create in Vincent, Alabama. They offer so many great products such as ground beans, hot and cold coffee products (one being award winning), and a warm and entertaining safe space to be yourself. We first met Naimah when she joined us for our 4th Avenue Market during 2021. Soon after, she jumped into our BECOME Business Accelerator program and has taken off ever since due to all her determination and dedication to the process!
